June 21st is the longest day of the year–at least in most places–in the Northern Hemisphere. It’s the first day of summer. It always seemed to me that the longest day of the year should mark the middle of the season, with the start and end midway between the equinoxes, but, again, nobody asked my opinion.
I got a new Weber grill for Fathers Day and we plan on using it a lot this summer. But we grill all year long, so that really isn’t a summer thing with us.
What are some of your summer traditions or memories–the things that just say “It’s SUMMER!” to you?
