My daughter told me about Postcrossing. Sounded like an interesting activity. The project’s goal is ” to allow people to receive postcards from all over the world, for free. Well, almost free! The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you will receive at least one back from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world.”
We signed up, got 5 addresses (Minnesota, England, Australia, Czech Republic, and Finland), and mailed off 5 postcards. We just got notified that 2 of the cards have arrived, so we will now placed on the “Send a Postcard” list.
Now it’s time to send off a couple more postcards. And to wait to see where our postcard will come from. I’ll keep you updated on the progress.
